We have been coming to Kruger regularly for years and in 2020 Needles was recommended to us by a friend. In October 2020, the only month this year in which one could travel from Germany to South Africa, we had our first stay there and it has now become our favorite place outside of Kruger. Our whole family loves the familiar and cozy atmosphere. The entire team is very friendly and always very interested in the well-being of the guests. The food is fantastic and the rooms are just wonderful. Sitting together in the lodge in the evening with other guests from all over the world and sharing the experiences of the day with a good wine and a perfect meal is incomparable. We keep coming back!

We stayed 17 nights at Needles lodge and can summarize it in one word FANTASTIC. The family atmosphere of both the owners and all the staff makes you feel so welcome here. Nothing is too much to ask here, everyone is very helpful. Our thanks to the entire team at Needles lodge and see you next year because yes, we will return to Needles lodge next year and again for at least 17 nights. Had an absolute awesome stay at Needles safari Lodge. They organised our full 8 day stay with Safari's, add on excursions and relax days in-between. We came to see the Animals and the great service from everyone just made it that much better. Dennis,Gail,lyn,Philip and the ladies thank you!!!

What a magic experience at Needles! Greeted daily by zebras, kudus, warthogs and giraffes from the deck. Warm friendly staff, wonderful food and comfortable and clean rooms. Thanks Lyn and Phil for your hospitality.

Best accommodation for visiting Kruger and superb customer service. Award winning!! Food is top quality, rooms are clean and spacious and wildlife is abundant. Large kudus, impalas and antelope were walking around the perimeter of the lodge. The safaris are coordinated by Needles and only the best guides are chosen. Every comfort item is included and when you head out for safaris even warm ponchos are provided. I can’t wait to return. Got to see leopards, sable antelope, herds of elephant, wildebeest, warthogs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, lions, impalas, babboons, mongoose, kudus, vultures and Cape buffalo. Awesome!!

Been to the needles for the third time. This time 6 nights. You can really relax and everyone is very nice. The food is fantastic and prepared by Thobila. You eat together with all the guests so that you can also chat with people about their experiences. We had a full day in Kruger Park with Willem. It is recommended for everyone to book the game drives in advance. You won't regret it! Take the morning walk. That's an adventure! We will 100% come back for the fourth time. Needles, thank you and see you soon.

Hier moet je geweest zijn om te begrijpen en te voelen hoe het is om in deze geweldige lodge te verblijven. Heerlijk (top kokkies!) en gezellig gegeten aan de lange buitentafel. Aanschuiven maar en elkaar vertellen over je ervaringen en te luisteren naar Dennis en zijn team die je van alles kunnen vertellen over het land en de geschiedenis. De game drive met ranger William om nooit te vergeten. Beter kan het echt niet worden.

What a great Lodge, Wildlife in the garden and on the wall, amazing hospitality, great food and rooms. Will certainly come back, pitty we only stayed for one night.
